ADEPOJU SENSITIZES STAFF ON IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH SOLUTIONS

The Director General and Chief Executive, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has emphasized the importance of prioritizing eye health as part of overall well-being and productivity in a technology-driven workplace.

He made the statement while declaring open an exercise organized by Princess Vision Eye Clinic for the staff of NASRDA at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

He said, this initiative is aimed at supporting NASRDA staff with practical knowledge on eye care, preventive health practices, and solutions to common vision challenges associated with prolonged screen exposure and digital work environments.

Describing the initiatives as crucial, Dr. Adepoju noted that maintaining optimal vision directly impacts focus, accuracy, and productivity, which are qualities essential for an organization whose operations depend largely on precision and technological engagement. 

He commended the medical experts for their dedication and urged staff to prioritize their eye health, stating that this is a gift that comes at no cost to the Agency and must be valued.

The sensitization featured interactive sessions on eye safety, free vision screening, and expert guidance on managing digital eye strain, which reflects the DG’s continued commitment to staff welfare, wellness and workplace excellence.
