NASRDA, STAR VISION TO PARTNER IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The Director-General and Chief Executive of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s space ecosystem through transformative partnerships.

He made this known while receiving delegates from Star Vision Aerospace Group Limited at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

Dr Adepoju explained that NASRDA has built a strong reputation for networking and strategic alliances, positioning it as one of Africa’s leading space development agencies recognized for technological innovation.

The NASRDA Boss, emphasized that the proposed partnership with Star Vision Aerospace Group will focus on the Know How Technology  Transfer model of capacity building for NASRDA engineers, facilitate knowledge transfer and strengthen the nation’s space ecosystem for sustainable development.

He highlighted the Agency’s existing collaborations with key international partners, which have contributed to significant national and regional projects.

According to him such engagements have continued to boost NASRDA’s ability to deliver impactful solutions across various sectors.

Dr Adepoju assured the visiting team of the Agency’s readiness to explore areas of mutual interest, particularly in leveraging emerging technologies within the aerospace sector.

In his remarks, the Co-founder of Star Vision Aerospace Group Limited, Mr. Noor Fan, commended Dr. Adepoju, for his outstanding leadership style, characterized by strategic vision, inclusiveness, and a strong commitment to promoting innovation and impactful collaborations within Nigeria’s space sector.

He stated that his organization is keen on partnering with NASRDA, particularly in the deployment of Artificial Intelligence powered satellite technologies to drive innovation and development.

During a presentation, Mr. Fan highlighted countries that have benefited from the Star Vision Aerospace programme and expressed optimism that a partnership with NASRDA would be transformative and impactful.
