NASRDA SHARPENS DIGITAL EDGE WITH NEW AGENCY MOBILE APP

The Director General and Chief Executive of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has reiterated that scaling the Agency's national and international impact requires a commitment to technologies that refine complex workflows and promote seamless collaboration.

He made the statement during a performance review of the proposed NASRDA APP, at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

Dr. Adepoju who asked the Agency’s software development team to sharpen their focus on refining internal digital tools, aiming to boost operational efficiency and elevate service delivery across the institution, lauded the team’s rapid progress in building the new NASRDA Mobile Application.

He described the initiative as a cornerstone of the Agency's digital transformation, urging developers to ensure every feature aligns with NASRDA’s goal of becoming an agile, and globally competitive space organization.

The NASRDA boss instructed the team to effectively integrate all feedback from the review process, stressing that the final product must be secure, intuitive and built to adapt to the Agency’s future requirements.

While introducing the platform, Special Adviser to the Director-General on ICT, Dr. Jude Adeleke, stated that the app serves as more than a digital storefront and  features an automated synchronization engine that updates the NASRDA website in real time, a key collaboration with the Media and Corporate Communications department.

According to him, the application is a comprehensive digital hub, hosting data on current and past satellite missions, Agency laboratories, and specialized services.

Dr. Adeleke confirmed that while the core infrastructure is operational, the development roadmap remains dynamic, with ongoing refinements scheduled to ensure the platform evolves in lockstep with the Agency’s mission.
