The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has announced Dr. Felix Ale, Director of the Media and Corporate Communications Department at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), as the Most Distinguished Media Personality of the Decade.
The Union disclosed this in an official statement, stating that Dr. Ale emerged after a careful and transparent selection process conducted by its leadership.
Regarded as the most respected media honour by the State Council, the NUJ Award is reserved for individuals whose contributions have strengthened public communication and promoted community development.
The Union described Dr. Ale’s record as exemplary, highlighting his decades-long impact as a distinguished Journalist, communicator, thought leader, and advocate for social progress.
The Council emphasized that the award reflects the Nigeria Union of Journalists firm commitment to integrity, professionalism, and the watchdog role of the press, just as Dr. Ale has demonstrated throughout his journalism career.
The leadership of the Pen profession commended his steady support for societal development, especially his contributions toward uplifting underserved groups.
The Union further noted that Dr. Ale will continue to serve as a source of inspiration to journalists within Ondo State and across Nigeria, owing to his enviable track records of professionalism, depth of experience, and commitment to the advancement of the media industry.
